Rajeev Nayyar to open cricket academy in Chamba
Chamba, July 13
Former Ranji Trophy player Rajeev Nayyar, who hails from Chamba, has planned to open a cricket academy here to promote budding talent in the district.
Nayyar, while addressing mediapersons here yesterday, said that for the past several years, new talent in cricket was not emerging in the district and an academy was badly needed.
“I will start a cricket academy where the children of every class will be given free coaching. I will share my experiences with all players,” Rajeev said.
He appealed to MLAs and the district administration for cooperation in making the initiative successful. — OC
