Following problems in the Northern Grid on Friday, water supply in Shimla has been affected. Against the normal supply of 40 million litres these days, the city received just 26.6 million litres from Friday morning to Saturday morning. “Due to the disturbance in the Northern Grid, pumping could not be done. With the stabilisation of the grid, pumps are working fine since this afternoon. So, we don’t see any further problem,” said SJPNL Managing Director Dharmender Gill.
