Highlighting the importance of the upcoming apple season, Negi instructed the PWD to prioritise the repair of main and link roads so that farmers and orchardists can transport their produce to markets on time. He also warned of strict action against contractors found negligent in executing development works.

The minister directed the early completion of the 3-km alternative Nigulsari link road and timely execution of the Sapni-Kanda link road. He further instructed departments concerned to expedite sewerage projects in Kalpa, Sangla and Ribba.
