The minister highlighted plans for underground ducting of electric, fiber, and telecommunication cables from Chotta Shimla to Mall Road. This initiative aims to eliminate the clutter of overhead wires, drawing inspiration from international urban planning standards.

Singh also described Shimla as a “mini Himachal,” housing residents from all regions of the state. He urged citizens and stakeholders to work collectively to maintain the city’s cleanliness and beauty.

Regarding upcoming projects, Singh announced that the ?1,600 crore ropeway project in Shimla would be completed in the coming years. Additionally, a mini mall is planned for Sabzi Mandi, as directed by Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu.
