Himachal Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla lauds NGO’s efforts for special kids

Expressing concern over the increasing illegal drug trade, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today said that he had instructed the universities to take an affidavit from students during the admission process. The declaration would prohibit the students from consuming drugs. He addressed an audience as the chief guest during the silver jubilee function of Chetna Organisation (NGO) at Vijaypur in Bilaspur district.

Dr Mallika Nadda, founder of Chetna Sanstha, welcomed the Governor. The Governor lauded their efforts towards the welfare of the specially abled children and women. He said that the organisation was instrumental in empowering the disabled.
