Addressing the gathering after his election, Guleria expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all NHM employees of the district for showing faith in him. He emphasised that the government must bring a clear and concrete policy for NHM contractual employees at the earliest. He warned that if the demands of the employees were ignored, workers in the district would be compelled to launch an agitation in the near future, and the responsibility for such a situation would lie entirely with the state government.
