NHPC centre notified as Covid facility

Reviewing measures and to provide facilities to patients suffering from coronavirus in the district, Deputy Commissioner DC Rana said that the local nursing college had the capacity to lay around 150 beds.
The DC said that the priority was being given to ensure availability of various facilities in the Dedicated Covid Health Centre (DCHC) set up in the vacant building of the nursing college.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal told in the meeting that the 30-bed medical centre of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC) located at Surangani had been notified as the Covid care centre.
CMO Dr Kapil Sharma informed that the capacity of beds at DCHC, Saru, had been increased from 90 to 130 and oxygen facility had also been provided.
