The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet on Wednesday decided to continue with night curfew in four districts of Shimla, Kullu, Kangra and Mandi, though the duration has been reduced by an hour as the timings now will be from 10 pm to 6 am.

Acceding to the request of hoteliers and traders, now it has been decided to allow the markets to remain open on Sundays.

It was being expected that the government could do away with the night curfew in view of decline in Covid cases and the request from hotel industry keeping in mind Christmas and New Year celebrations.
