No-flying zone in Sirmaur for VVIP visit today

The flying of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, any type of aircraft, hot air balloons and all forms of aerial sports activities such as paragliding and para-sailing will be strictly prohibited throughout Thursday.

The Sirmaur district administration has declared a complete no-flying zone in the district tomorrow in view of the visit of a very important dignitary to the adjoining region.

Deputy Commissioner, Sirmaur, Priyanka Verma said that the flying of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), any type of aircraft, hot air balloons and all forms of aerial sports activities such as paragliding and para-sailing would remain strictly prohibited throughout the day.

She said that the step had been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety and maintain high-level security arrangements during the VVIP movement.

Priyanka warned that any individual, authority or organisation found violating the orders would face strict legal action under the relevant provisions of the law. The restrictions would remain effective till midnight.
