Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar performed ‘Tulsi Anushthan’ and ‘Gau Poojan’ at Thanakalan Gaushala in Una district yesterday. Rural Development Minister Virender Kanwar was also present on the occasion.

The Governor said the state government was making efforts to free the state roads of stray cattle by June 2022 and to ensure welfare and safety of abandoned cattle. It had provided shelter to more than 20,000 destitute heads of cattle during the past four years.
