A spokesperson for Himachal Pradesh Electricity Board (HPSEB) informed here that as a result of the ban imposed on Paytm by the Reserve Bank of India, it had stopped digital payment of electricity bills through Bharat Bill Payment System from February 13.

But now, the services of Paytm have been extended till March 15. The HPSEB has given permission to Paytm to start electricity board payments through BBPS system.
