Now, rapid test machine at Nurpur hospital
Nurpur, June 28
In order to increase Covid-19 testing, the Health Department installed digital TrueNat diagnostic machine at the Civil Hospital here last evening. Similar machines are also being installed at the Palampur Civil Hospital and Tanda Medical College, Kangra. Local MLA Rakesh Pathania, while inaugurating this testing facility, said the Union Government had given six TrueNat machines to the state, out of which three were being installed in Kangra district alone.
The Covid-19 testing facility through diagnostic machine is being provided to patients free of cost.
Two tests can be conducted at a time and its final report, comprising screening and confirmation for Covid-19, can be procured within two hours. — OC
