NSUI launches campaign
The NSUI on Monday launched ‘Shiksha Bachao, Desh Bachao’ campaign. The new education policy (NEP) would increase centralisation and privatisation of education, which clearly showed that the Modi government wanted to cater to only the rich and not the poor. Besides, the scams in SSC, NEET and JEE proved that the Union Government was anti-students, members of the NSUI alleged.
Foundation Day celebrated
The 71st Foundation Day of Bharat Scouts and Guides was celebrated on November 7. On the occasion, representative of the organisation, under the leadership of Amarjeet Sharma, Director Higher Education, met Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and presented him the scouting scarf and the badge of the 71st Foundation Day. Besides, the group also apprised the Governor of the works being done by the Bharat Scouts and Guides in the state.
