One passenger was killed while six others were injured when boulders fell on a HRTC bus going from Killar in Pangi valley to Tissa area of Chamba district. The accident took place near Sach Pass that connects Tissa area of Chamba district with Pangi valley.

Chamba Deputy Commissioner DC Rana confirmed the death of one passenger and injuries to six others. “The injured are being shifted to Chamba Medical College. Others have been given first aid at Tissa Civil Hospital,” he said.

The deceased has been identified as Yog Raj of Dimora village in Chamba district.

The six injured include Mohan Lal of Gulai village, Tulsi Ram of Ladan village, Vijay Kumar of Luchiana village, Neetu of Kadvar village, Charan Singh of Sharyunda village and Nagesh Kumar of Ovaari village, all in Chamba district.

The injured have been given a grant of Rs 5000 each by the deputy commissioner.
