One killed, one hurt in Nankhari accident

One person died after a pickup rolled down the road in Gadasu in Nankhari (district Shimla) late on Wednesday evening. One person was injured in the accident. According to information received from the police, the vehicle rolled down 70 metres from the road. The villagers and the police team reached the spot and started the rescue work. The injured were taken to the nearby Primary Health Centre. Rakesh Kumar, a 37-year-old,was declared brought dead.

Naddi resident held with charas

Dharamsala: The Dharamsala police have seized 199 gram of charas from Sagar, a resident Naddi area in Dharamsala. The accused was arrested by the police from the Slate Gudam area near Dharamsala. The accused was allegedly a peddler who was selling charas in surrounding areas. The police have registered a case under the NDPS Act against the accused. Kangra SP Shallini Agnihotri said further investigation into the case was going on.
