The district administration started an online portal for ensuring home delivery of essential commodities in here today. Harikesh Meena, Deputy Commissioner, said people could register on the portal and place their requirement online and the administration would arrange for the home delivery of items. He said people had to sign up on the web portal http://hphmrddma.in and proceed follow instructions to get the required commodities. He said those who could not use the web portal could call on phone numbers 1077, 01972-221277, 221377, 221477 and 221877 of the disaster management authority.

The administration has also started issuing emergeny curfew passes at to public. The police department has been entrusted with this task. Arjit Sen Thakur, SP, said people could contact on 01972224339, 112 or can send their request on Whatsapp numbers 7876916802, 7876916818 and 7876916825. — OC
