Naina Devi MLA Randhir Sharma, who is also the BJP’s chief spokesperson, said the Opposition doesn’t flag issues with EVMs in the polls it wins. “They are trying to mislead the electorate as they know they will lose the Bihar Assembly poll.”

He said Rahul Gandhi should tender an apology to all Indians for insulting the PM and the voters. “Both the Congress and the RJD have violated democratic norms and insulted 140 crore people by using derogatory language,” he said.

Taking note of Rahul Gandhi’s remarks on the PM in Darbhanga, Sharma said the Congress feared Modi’s reach. “By referring to the PM with ‘tu’ in his recent speeched, it becomes clear Rahul wants to insult him.”

“The use of bitter and obscene language against the PM is extremely condemnable,” he added.
