The camp aimed to spread awareness about the importance of oral hygiene and its critical link to overall health. Dr Vaibhavi Gurung, District Programme Officer from the Health Department, addressed the students, emphasising how oral health was an integral component of general well-being. “A healthy mouth contributes to a healthy mind,” she remarked.

She advised students to adopt healthy oral habits such as brushing twice daily (morning and night), rinsing the mouth after consuming sweets, avoiding extremely hot or cold foods and minimising the intake of sugary and junk foods.
