Over 150 students from various engineering disciplines are participating in the four-day ‘Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) 2025: Youth Skilling Programme & Placement Drive’, that was inaugurated today at the University Institute of Technology (UIT), Himachal Pradesh University.
The programme is being jointly organised by the Training and Placement Cell, UIT, and the Placement, Career andGuidance Cell, HPU, in collaboration with the NIIT Foundation powered by Infosys Foundation under the leadership of Pradeep Suman (TPO, HPU).
Prof Joginder Singh Dhiman, Dean Planning and Teachers’ Matters and Director, Ramanujan Centre for Indian Knowledge Systems and Indian Mathematics, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Prof AJ Singh, Director UIT and Guest of Honour, emphasised UIT’s initiatives in strengthening industry – academia linkages and promoting student career development.
He said this intensive employment-oriented programme aimed at enhancing aptitude, communication skills, personality development and interview readiness through corporate-led modules by NIIT Foundation trainers.
