The aim is to directly engage with farm-level beneficiaries and facilitate their integration into the Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture schemes. The Horticulture Department has set a target to generate a demand potential of 5,000 MT of cold storage capacity every month.

Secretary (Horticulture) C Paulrasu said, “Himachal faces a persistent challenge in terms of post-harvest losses, especially at the farm level. The MoU reflects our commitment to empowering horticulture growers through sustainable and inclusive solutions.”
