Palampur school hosts stress management workshop for teachers

The programme aimed at equipping teachers with practical strategies to cope with academic pressures and enhance their overall well-being.
The workshop began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address from Principal Dr VK Yadav, who extended floral greetings to the resource persons, Priya Kapil and Sanjay Kumar.
During the sessions, teachers were guided through techniques to effectively manage workload-related stress, improve productivity and safeguard both physical and mental health. The resource persons emphasised that stress management not only benefits educators personally but also helps them foster a more positive and supportive classroom environment, ultimately enhancing students’ academic success and personal growth.
Participants practiced methods such as mindfulness, deep breathing, time management and building support systems to maintain balance in their professional and personal lives. Teachers described the workshop as a valuable learning experience that empowered them to prioritise their well-being.
Concluding the event, Principal Dr Yadav expressed heartfelt gratitude to CBSE COE-Panchkula and the resource persons for their meaningful contribution to teachers’ Continuous Professional Development (CPD). He noted that such initiatives strengthen the teaching community by enabling educators to handle challenges with resilience and confidence.
