Palampur university students shine at National Agriculture Summit

Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya, Palampur, Vice-Chancellor Naveen Kumar congratulated students for recently securing the third position in the quiz competition during National Agriculture Summit-2024, organised by Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (SKUAST), Jammu. A total of 11 teams from various agricultural and horticultural universities across the country participated in the event. The theme of the summit was “Agriculture and Allied Sciences”.

Kumar said the achievement was a matter of pride for the university. The university’s team comprised students Sachin, Sanyav, Deepak and Karthik. Student Welfare Officer Dr AK Panda expressed his happiness over the achievement.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
