Pathak Himachal CII chief, Aggarwal deputy

Lt Col Shailesh Pathak (retd) and Shailesh Aggarwal have been elected Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the CII Himachal Pradesh State Council for 2020-21.
“The year 2020 marks 125th years of CII service to the nation and, therefore, this is a special year for all of us. Social impact initiatives will be taken during the year apart from the core work of the CII. The council will focus on strengthening the ease-of-doing business, facilitating investments, generating employment and promoting MSME competitiveness during the year,” said Pathak.
Pathak is a science graduate from Delhi University and now a fenestration professional. He is an adventure enthusiast and also motivational speaker and often enjoys taking lectures on fenestration and current topics in architectural colleges, industry forums and management colleges.
Aggarwal, born on February 2, 1963, is the managing director of JB Conductors and Cables at Nalagarh. He is a mechanical engineer from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. He has been associated with the CII for many years.
