Pawan Hans to resume heli-service to Kullu
Kullu, June 12
Pawan Hans will resume helicopter service to Kullu airport from Monday. This was revealed by Kullu airport Director Neeraj Kumar Srivastava today.
A source in Pawan Hans said that the flight would come to Kullu from Shimla and return on Monday, Friday and Saturday. He added that now the helicopters would fly on the Chandigarh-Shimla-Kullu route and return through the same route.
The one-way helicopter fare from Shimla to Kullu is Rs 3,200 and from Shimla to Chandigarh, it is Rs 2,880.
RP Srivastava, Chief Security Officer of Bhuntar Airport, said that the airport was ready for flights. He added that the passengers would have to fill a form, giving details of their journey along with their health condition before entering the airport.
He said that a team of the Health Department would do a health check up of the passengers at the airport. — OC
