Amid the ongoing controversy over derogatory remarks made by Youtubers Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina on ‘India Got Latent’, a complaint has been filed against a Shimla-based content creator for allegedly harassing people through prank videos.

In a complaint sent to Shimla Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi, the complainant has alleged that a youngster, who runs a social media handle by the name of ‘Guru ji Shimla’, has been seen harassing people at the Ridge and The Mall, two of the most popular tourists spots in the city.

He alleged that he harassed women, young girls and senior citizens through indecent activities and questions.

Gandhi confirmed the report and said they were looking into the matter.

Meanwhile, the content creator in a social media post has clarified that all his videos were shot and uploaded with the permission of people.

He said there’s nothing indecent in his videos and he only created videos for the purpose of light-hearted comedy.

Seeking help from people, he said misinformation was being spread against him on social media and he had also seen several posts in which people were being urged to teach him a lesson if anyone spots him.
