Police recruitment test today, no gadgets allowed

Hamirpur, July 2

“Candidates appearing in the police constable recruitment test on Sunday will not be allowed to take any smart or electronic device inside the examination hall,” said SP Akriti Sharma here today.

She said that the examination would be conducted under strict security and anyone found involved in doubtful activities would be dealt with strictly. She added that three examination centres had been set up at the National Institute of Technology, Polytechnic College and DAV School at Salasi.

Akriti said that 4,833 candidates would appear in the exam. She added that all those candidates, whose names had appeared in the paper leak case, would not be allowed to take the exam.

She said that candidates should reach the examination centre by 9 am to complete all entry procedures. She added that the exam would start at 12 noon and no one would be allowed to entre the centre once the examination begins. She urged people to inform the police if they notice any suspicious activity pertaining to the examination.
