HUDCO’s Executive Director (CSR) Rajeev Sharma on Friday inaugurated a handheld portable TB X-ray machine provided to the Health Department under HUDCO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at Chamba.

Chamba Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal was present during the inauguration. The machine, valued at Rs 4 lakh, is aimed at bolstering the national TB elimination campaign.

Sharma said its lightweight and portable nature made it ideal for diagnosing TB patients in remote areas of the district. He also announced that another machine would soon be provided to further support healthcare initiatives in the region.
