Nurpur, June 19

To carry out repair and maintenance work of the 220 kv power station at Bodh, near here, the power supply will remain suspended on Monday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Kishan Dhiman, assistant engineer, 220 kv power station, said the repair work was being undertaken at the 33 kv power feeder in the substation, affecting power supply in Kandrori, Sadwan, Bharmar and Raja ka Bagh. He said the shutdown of 11 kv feeder would hit power supply in Nurpur, Jassur, Onth, Kotla, Suliali and Gangath areas.

Sources said the HPSEBL was facing power shortage and tomorrow’s power shutdown in the 220 kv substation was also aimed at overcoming the power scarcity.
