Rashtrapati Niwas in Mashobra, around 11 km from the state’s capital, will remain closed for the public from April 28 to May 12 in view of President Draupadi Murmu’s visit to the state.

The 174-year-old heritage property that spans over 10,628 sq ft serves as a summer retreat for the President of India. In April 2023, the Rashtrapati Niwas was opened to the public for the very first time, inviting visitors to explore its architectural splendor and historical legacy. Tours are available daily from 10 am to 6 pm, with the last entry at 5 pm. The estate remains closed on Mondays and public holidays.
