A private bus overturn near Banala in Mandi district on Friday after large rocks fell on it on the Kiratpur-Manali highway.

Police said driver, Jaswant Singh, and conductor, Ankush, were injured in the mishap.

Both were taken to the Community Health Center (CHC) in Nagwain for medical treatment.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of roads in hilly areas, especially during the rainy season when landslides and falling rocks are more common.

Local officials are working to clear the debris and prevent similar accidents from occurring in the future.
