Prof Mamta Mokta appointed Member, Public Service Commission

Professor Mamta Mokta has been appointed as Member of the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. She has been appointed for a period of six years or until she attains the age of 62, whichever is earlier.

Prof Mokta is currently the chairperson of Department of Public Administration, Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), and Dean Students Welfare. Teaching for the last 32 years, she has been a Professor for the last 16 years. Her area of specialisation includes good governance, policy and governance, effective public service delivery, development administration and innovative governance.

She has authored seven books and has carried out several research projects. Besides, she has extensive administrative experience.
