his vision for the district

in an interview with

Raghav Guleria. Excerpts:

What would be your priorities for Kangra district?

The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh has a vision of making Kangra the tourism capital of Himachal Pradesh.

My priority would be to expedite the multiple projects already initiated by the government.

What precisely would be the roadmap?

The administration shall facilitate and coordinate with various other departments for the fulfilment of government’s vision.

The administration would also focus on the condition of roads for better connectivity. The water channels which come from perennial sources shall be taken care of. We would look forward to help people become self-reliant to make better contribution to society.

How do you find the present assignment?

Kangra district is known for its diversity as on one side it has snowclad Dhauladhar and on the other the plains of Nurpur, Jawali and Indora. There are natural challenges which need to be timely addressed by the district administration.

It would be satisfying to facilitate people living in remote areas.
