Raghav Sharma joins as Una Deputy Commissioner

Raghav Sharma, a 2013-batch IAS officer, today joined as the Deputy Commissioner of Una district.

Sharma, who hails from Sikar district in Rajasthan, was the Kangra ADC earlier. He was in Telangana as Observer for byelections and upon his posting as the Una DC, he was relieved of his duty. He has also served as the Assistant Secretary in the Union Ministry of Textiles, Gohar SDM and the Mandi ADC.

The DC said his priority would be to implement government schemes and extend policies to beneficiaries in a transparent manner. He said sanctioned works would be speeded up. Meanwhile, outgoing DC Sandeep Kumar was today accorded a farewell by the district secretariat staff. — OC
