Six inches of snow was recorded at Billing, a major tourist resort, this afternoon, while seven inches of snow was witnessed at Kothi Kohar in Chhota Bhangal. Power supply and transport services have been badly affected.

Many parts of Palampur, Baijnath, Jaisinghpur and adjoining areas remained without power supply for hours following a snag in the transmission lines feeding many parts of Palampur and Baijnath. Vehicular movement at Chhota Bhanghal and Billing has been hit. No bus could reach Kothi Kohar and Multhan today. Paragliding at Bir-Billing has also been suspended.
