Himachal Pradesh is set to receive rainfall from May 1 onwards. As per the state’s Meteorological Department, light rainfall is very likely to occur in isolated areas across the state on May 1. Similarly, on May 2, light rainfall will continue in isolated areas of plains and low hills while light rainfall will occur in many places in middle and high hills of the state.

Meanwhile, weather was mostly dry across the state during the last 24 hours and no change was recorded in the maximum and minimum temperatures during the day.

Shimla recorded 26.6°C maximum temperature, while Dharamsala recorded 31.1°C maximum temperature.

Paonta Sahib and Una were the hottest as both recorded 40°C maximum temperature, while Keylong was the coldest with 2°C minimum temperature.
