Rajesh Kumar, a 2018-batch IPS officer, who had been serving as the SP (Leave Reserve) at Police Headquarters, Shimla, has been transferred as the SP CID (Crime Branch), Shimla.

The state government has transferred and posted four IPS officers, including Rajesh Kumar. A notification was issued in this regard on Friday. As per the notification, 2011-batch IPS officer Omapati Jamwal, who had been awaiting posting, has been transferred to the post of SP, Police Training College, Daroh (Kangra).

Similarly, 2018- batch IPS officer Bhag Mal, who had been awaiting posting, has been transferred to the post of SP, Police Academy, Training & Research, at Police Training College (Daroh) against the post of IGP, Police Academy, Training & Research, HP. Arvind Chaudhary, currently serving as the SP, Police Training College, Daroh, has been directed to report to the Police Headquarters.
