The results of the Agniveer recruitment rally, held from September 3 to 9 at Rampur, have been declared.Col Pushwinder Kaur, Director (Recruiting), Army Recruiting Office, Shimla, said Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical and Agniveer Tradesman candidates had been selected.

Army Recruiting Office, Shimla, had enroled youngsters from Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur and Kinnaur districts of the state, she added. All selected candidates should report at the Army Recruiting Office, Shimla, on October 3 at 8 am for further documentation. All the selected candidates will be despatched to training centres post documentation.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
