Dr YS Parmar real architect of Himachal: Sardar Patel University VC

“Dr YS Parmar was the real architect of Himachal. The development that we see today was his dream,” said Dev Dutt Sharma, Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Sardar Patel University, at Bilaspur.
He said that this was due to the vision of Parmar that the interests of the people of Himachal Pradesh were protected through special provisions of law. He added that Parmar introduced the Land Ceiling Act and Section 118 to protect the interests of the state.
Academician Krishan Mohan Pandey read out a research paper on the works of Parmar. Kuldeep Chandel detailed about the contributions of the people of Bilaspur to the freedom struggle.
