Renukaji segment gets Rs 29.50-cr development projects

CM inaugurates ITI building virtually from New Delhi

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 29.50 crore for Shree Renuka Ji Assembly constituency in Sirmaur district virtually from New Delhi.

The Chief Minister inaugurated a newly constructed building of the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Maina Bag in Sangrah tehsil, built at a cost of Rs 6.47 crore. He also dedicated the first phase of the Sub Market Yard at Nohradhar, completed at a cost of Rs 2.20 crore with an aim to provide better facilities to farmers and traders in the area.

He laid the foundation stone of the Renukaji-Dadahu-Birla road to be constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore. He also initiated a major project worth Rs 17.89 crore in Jal Shakti Department subdivision Nohradhar, which would provide irrigation water to several villages of the constituency. Besides, he laid the foundation stone of a Rs 94-lakh gravity water supply scheme from Rondi Pul to Chokan, Thandi, Harizan Basti Chumanu and Kudag villages in Bharari gram panchayat of Nohradhar.

Industries and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan, Deputy Speaker of the Himachal Assembly Vinay Kumar, MLA Ajay Solanki and Sirmaur district administration officials were present at Maina Bag during the virtual proceedings.
