Shimla, July 15
At least 32 fresh cases of Covid-19 were reported today, taking the tally to 1,341.
Nine cases were reported from Solan, Kullu (6), Chamba (3) and Una district (2). A 31-year-old man who returned to his village Kalehi in Kullu district from Sudan on July 4 also tested positive. He had been in home quarantine since his return.
A 34-year-old man from the Patka area of Chamba district was also found infected. He had returned from Ludhiana.
2 cases in Chamba
Dharamsala: Two persons tested positive for Covid in Chamba.A 29-year-old woman from Bhatiyund village in Salooni and a five-year-old child from the same village were found infected. They had come back from Noida and were in home quarantine. In Kangra district, three patients recovered and were discharged.
Expectant mother infected
A 23-year-old expectant mother tested positive at Dr YS Parmar Medical College at Nahan in Sirmaur district on Wednesday. She had no travel history.
9 infected in Solan
Nine cases were reported in Solan. Medical Officer Health, Solan, Dr NK Gupta, said that four cases were reported in Baddi — all of them are the contacts of positive cases from Wrigley India. Besides, four men from Kumarhatti village and a 21-year-old woman from Dharampur tested positive. The woman had come from Balabhgarh on July 8 and was in home quarantine. Those who were found infected in Kumarhatti, including a 19-year-old youth, were labourers who had come from Rajasthan.
