Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr Rajesh Guleri today informed that seven out of 27 samples from the Saho area in Chamba district had tested negative at Dr Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College (DRPGMC), Tanda (Kangra), on Monday. Other reports are awaited, he said.

The CMO said there were 34 close household contacts whose samples could not be taken today due to bad weather. The same would be done tomorrow morning.

On Monday, four out of eleven samples sent from the Tissa area had tested positive at the DRPGMC. They were asymptomatic, the CMO said.
