Rs 460 crore tender to be floated for drug park work
While presiding over the fifth meeting of the High Powered Committee of State Implementing Agency (SIA) of the park here today, Industries Minister Harshwardhan Chauhan issued directions to expedite the work of Bulk Drug Park by all departments on priority basis.
He said that an amount of Rs 50 crore had been released for Bulk Drug Park, and the state was committed to execute this park in a time-bound manner. The committee allowed floating a tender for site development, boundary wall, internal roads, etc, amounting to Rs 460 crore in phase-I of the Bulk Drug Park. Out of 1400 acre land, 800 acre will be developed in phase-I.
The minister said that the construction, operation and maintenance of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), steam generation and solid waste management would be clubbed together in single bid on Engineering Procurement and Construction Model (EPC model). He also directed the Project Management Consultancy firm to prepare Operation and Maintenance parameters of these technical utilities.
The solar power projects will be set up on the land in and around the Bulk Drug Park for meeting the power requirements. He also issued direction to constitute an advisory panel of Bulk Drug Park experts for getting their inputs in executing the park.
The minister directed to constitute a technical committee under the chairmanship of Chief Engineer PWD, Hamirpur Zone, for vetting of technical bid of tender document. He also reviewed the actions taken on key decisions in fourth meeting of high powered committee.
