RS Bali bats for Priyanka Gandhi’s nomination

RS Bali, national secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) and Nagorta Bagwan MLA, today said that Priyanka Gandhi should represent Himachal Pradesh in the Rajya Sabha.

Bali, in a press note issued here, said that Priyanka Gandhi’s leadership qualities helped the Congress win the Himachal Assembly elections in 2022. “She has deep ties with Himachal Pradesh. Her presence in the Rajya Sabha from Himachal will bolster the state’s representation and effectively champion its interests at the national level,” he added.

He said that Priyanka Gandhi’s played instrumental role in the Congress’ success in the recent Assembly elections. He appealed to Priyanka Gandhi to consider filing her nomination for the Rajya Sabha from Himachal.
