Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today said to safeguard passengers from Covid-19 infection during the festival season, the HP State Disaster Management Authority had released Rs 5 crore to the HRTC for sanitisation of buses.

The assistance would also be helpful in providing thermal guns and other safety equipment to avoid infection to the staff. The government had also provided Rs 8 crore from the Covid State Disaster Response Fund to the HRTC. — TNS
