Rs 8 crore for upgrade of Ramshila-Naggar road

Forest, Transport, Youth Services and Sports Minister Govind Singh Thakur on Sunday said Rs 8 crore would be spent during this fiscal for upgrading the Ramshila-Naggar road.
He said this during the inauguration of a veterinary hospital at Kais village today.
He also performed ‘bhoomi poojan’ for the road from Kais to Bandrol. Around Rs 1.55 crore would be spent on the Kais-Bandrol road and this would facilitate the agriculturists of the left bank road to transport their goods to Bandrol Sabzi Mandi.
Govind Singh said more than Rs 27 lakh had been spent on the building of the hospital and cattle grazers of the area would get good facilities at their doorsteps.
The minister said apart from expansion of roads, drinking water, education, health and other basic facilities during the past two years, around Rs 6 crore had been allocated for small development works in all panchayats of the Manali Assembly constituency.
Apart from these, financial assistance of nearly Rs 3.5 crore had been provided to the poor, needy and victims of serious illnesses.
