The Dharamsala Government College auditorium witnessed a national seminar and felicitation ceremony on ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshta Bharat’ under the joint aegis of Hindi Department and HP Central University Teachers’ Association.

Keynote speaker Indresh Kumar, the RSS stalwart, was accompanied by ex-CM Shanta Kumar as the chief guest. CUHP VC Prof Sat Prakash Bansal was present as the programme chairman, Prof Rajeshwar Chandel, VC of Horticulture and Forestry University, Solan, and Gyari Dolma, Minister Security, Central Tibet Administration, Dharamsala, were present as special guests.

Brahmarishi Vashisht Samman was conferred on Indresh Kumar on behalf of the Central University and Swami Satyanand Stokes Award was bestowed upon Prof Rajeshwar Chandel.

Shanta highlighted the importance of duty towards the nation while Indresh laid emphasis on social reforms for the unity and integrity of India.
