The competition was presided over by Rajiv Kumar, Project Director, HPSACS and aimed at spreading awareness among students about HIV, AIDS, sexually transmitted infections, TB and other health issues.

Speaking on the occasion, Kumar emphasised the importance of educating youth about HIV and AIDS to build a healthier and more compassionate society. “By understanding the risks, prevention methods and the need for empathy toward those affected, students can become ambassadors of change in their communities,” he said.

He added that such initiatives encourage students to participate in social causes, develop leadership skills and take responsibility for spreading awareness. “Awareness reduces stigma and misconceptions while empowering people to make informed decisions, fostering a culture of care, responsibility and inclusiveness,” he noted. Prizes were distributed to the winners and participants at the conclusion of the event.
