Himachal Pradesh Sant Guru Ravidas Mahasabha organised a special event in Chhalara gram panchayat to mark the birth anniversary of Sant Guru Ravidas. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania was the chief guest on the occasion.

He inaugurated the event by hoisting the flag at the Sant Guru Ravidas temple. Extending heartfelt greetings, Pathania highlighted that Guru Ravidas’ devotional teachings and literature are dedicated to the welfare of humanity. He emphasised that Guru Ravidas preached equality and brotherhood, advocating against caste-based discrimination through devotion and spiritual messages.

Pathania added that the state government had successfully implemented various social security schemes, policies and programmes, providing people with opportunities for growth and progress. He also acknowledged the significant contributions of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr BR Ambedkar in shaping the nation’s values of equality and justice.

He also directed the immediate commencement of the expansion work of the community hall and the construction of the village access road in Daintha, as per the previously sanctioned funds. He also listened to the grievances of the people and resolved many issues on the spot.

A blood donation camp was also organised by the Sant Guru Ravidas Block Mahasabha in collaboration with Bhagwan Buddha Charitable Blood Centre, Kangra. Many local residents enthusiastically participated in the camp.
