Save folk music, wool weaving, Kangana Ranaut in Parliament

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut, Mandi MP, in her maiden speech during Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha, demanded immediate steps to be taken to save the traditional weaving methods from sheep and yak wool used to make shawls and jackets.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
