SC commission chiefs discuss key issues

Himachal Pradesh State Commission for Scheduled Castes Chairperson Kuldeep Kumar Dhiman met National Commission for Scheduled Castes Chairperson Kishor Makwana in New Delhi on Monday and invited him to visit Himachal Pradesh for a meeting.

During the interaction, Dhiman discussed various issues and briefed Makwana on the activities of the HP State Commission for Scheduled Castes. He also outlined key state government schemes aimed at ensuring the holistic development of all regions and sections of society, noting that Himachal Pradesh is progressing rapidly towards self-reliance.

Dhiman emphasised the state government’s commitment to providing a dignified life, security and equal opportunities to vulnerable sections, including women, children and senior citizens.
